What we do

Revamp a tired kitchen with a redesign and modern overhaul.

Jack's old kitchen was tired and lacked a practical work surface.

We shuffled things around, added new units and a solid wood worktop.

Replacing the sink and repositioning the tap reclaimed much-needed work surface.

KITCHENS

We installed this beautiful American walnut floor after Helen & Nick had a bad flood.

With a family party looming and very little notice, the clock was ticking.

Every great journey begins with a single step.

Or a single plank.

Like a great big puzzle, cutting the ends, fitting it around corners.

Precise measurements were needed around the ceramic tiles.

FLOORS

Access awkward corner units much more easily.

Sarah hated this corner unit and wanted better access to her pots and pans.

"Magic Corners" solve the perennial problem of getting into that far back corner.

This unit not only pulls out but also slides over, providing full access.

STORAGE

Giving a battered old door some proper TLC takes more than just a lick of paint.

Years of abuse, sun scorched, battered by the wind, rain and sea – it all takes a toll.

Stripping down to the bare wood reveals all.
20kg of paint came off this door!

The exposed timber is conditioned, knots are treated and the gaps filled.

Making good with a good-quality, weatherproof undercoat.

Apply a final topcoat, both inside and out.

DOORS

Make better use of alcove space in your home.

Anna had long wanted to put a unit into this alcove space.

We designed, built and installed this cabinet...

...and these floating shelves above.

ALCOVES

Need some more storage in your kitchen?

We fabricated this unit to match the existing bespoke, solid wood units.

Sourcing matching handles...

...and doors.

Ensuring an exact color match to the existing 10-year-old units.

Adding a replacement pelmet across the new and old units.

This attention to detail helps it blend right in.

Some new shelves also solved the precarious mug problem in an adjacent cupboard.

CUPBOARDS

Recondition solid wood worktops.

Julie was concerned that their oak worktop was beyond repair.

But they can can be refurbished.

With a sander in one hand and wood cleaner in the other, we set to it.

After a good sanding, we let the cleaner do its stuff.

Topped off with a few coats of lacquer – job done. Another satisfied customer.
